IBGE opens call for applications for vacancies for Demographic Census 2021

Brasil de Fato – The IBGE 2021 contest is open for 204,307 temporary vacancies for this year’s Demographic Census. The vacancies are aimed at professionals of middle and fundamental levels throughout Brazil.

To register, interested parties must access the Cebraspe website, responsible for conducting the contest, fill out the online form and pay the registration fee, according to the intended function. For Enumerator, the fee is R $ 25.77, for Municipal Census Agent and Supervisor Census Agent, R $ 39.49. Registrations for the last two positions can be made until 23:59 on March 15th. As for the position of Enumerator, until February 23, at 11:59 pm.

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the competition tests will be applied on April 18 for agents and April 25 for enumerators, in all municipalities where there are vacancies.

Those selected must meet certain requirements, such as being Brazilian or Portuguese, be at least 18 years old, have no pending issues with the Electoral Justice and present a statement of their own that they are not in the position of managing partner or business administrator. .

The final result of those approved will be released on May 27.

For the position of Enumerator, 181,898 vacancies will be offered. The specific requirements for this position is to have completed elementary school. There is no defined remuneration, since this is determined according to the productivity of the worker. The contract is also not permanent: it lasts for three months.

In the case of the Municipal Census Agent, there are 5,450 vacancies, with a remuneration of R $ 2,100.00 for 40 hours a week, for a five-month contract. The requirement in this case is to have completed high school.

Finally, for Supervisor Census Agent, there are 16,959 vacancies, with remuneration of R $ 1,700.00 for 40 hours of work per week, also under a five-month contract. The specific requirement is also to have completed high school.

Argentina extends border closure with Brazil
